We are searching for the best talent for the Associate Marketing Manager -Depuy Synthes CMF in West Chester, PA.
Purpose: an Associate Marketing Manager, Global Strategic Marketing for CMF and Thoracic, based in West Chester, PA. This role supports the development and execution of global marketing strategies, product launches, portfolio initiatives and business planning activities across the CMF and Thoracic platform. The Associate Marketing Manager will work cross-functionally with regional marketing, R&D, sales, finance, professional education and other key stakeholders to help drive growth, strengthen customer engagement and support the successful execution of strategic priorities.
You will be responsible for:
Commercial Support - Support achievement of worldwide business plan objectives related to sales, gross profit, inventory and pricing. Assist with expense management and help maintain the company’s position in the CMF market.
Brand Strategy - Support the development and execution of global brand strategies for products, services, programs and other key initiatives, including value proposition development, targeting and segmentation, positioning, branding, product launch support and lifecycle management.
Product Launch - Support the planning and execution of worldwide product launches. Responsibilities include assisting with development of marketing materials for key stakeholders (salesforce, surgeons, hospitals, patients, payers, etc.), promotional plans, product training support, forecasting inputs, inventory roll-out planning and sales tools. Coordinate closely with Regional Marketing teams and other key stakeholders.
Portfolio Planning & Product Development - Support portfolio plans aligned to company strategy. Partner with R&D and cross-functional stakeholders to contribute to product development programs. Provide input into product scope, launch messaging, materials, and set configurations. Leverage understanding of the product development process and functional areas (quality, regulatory, etc.) to support on-time launches.
Portfolio Lifecycle Management - Support company strategy for portfolio optimization and quality initiatives.
Business Development Support - Assist in evaluating external partners and market opportunities that may help fill portfolio gaps or create competitive differentiation. Support development of business case materials for internal review.
Customer Insights and Analytics - Partner with Business Insights & Strategic Marketing to support market research initiatives around customer needs and product validation. Stay connected with market needs through customer interaction, co-travel with sales consultants, attendance at industry meetings and review of medical journals.
Business Planning & Execution - Work closely with manager to support development of business plans related to area of focus (i.e. business segment, product, region, etc.). Collaborate with functional areas to execute plans and develop market messaging that supports customer engagement. Partner with the sales force and field marketing to support effective deployment.
Collaboration & Project Support - Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to support key projects, gather input, track deliverables and ensure alignment with product and company strategy.
General Business Support - Develop strong working relationships with surgeon customers and key stakeholders. Partner with Professional Education & Tradeshow groups to support promotional plans around key events and provide on-site support. Partner closely with Regional Marketing and Sales Teams to gather customer input and ensure alignment with business priorities. Be responsive to requests from customers and sales consultants.
Qualifications / Requirements:
A minimum of a BA/BS degree or equivalent is required; Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
A minimum of 2-4 years of relevant business experience is preferred.
Experience in healthcare, medical device, marketing, sales support, operations, or other commercial roles is preferred.
Strong organizational, analytical, and project coordination skills are required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams are required.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain attention to detail, and support projects in a fast-paced environment is required.
Experience with CRM, reporting tools, or other commercial systems is preferred.
Willingness to travel (approximately 20%, depending on product and launch activities).
Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
$94,000.00 - $151,800.00Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.
Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:
Vacation –120 hours per calendar year
Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado –48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington –56 hours per calendar year
Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays –13 days per calendar year
Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child
Bereavement Leave – 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year
