Senior Principal Optical Design Engineer

Job Summary: Senior Principal Optical Design Engineer will be responsible for the optical design of advanced Co-Packaged Optics and Optical Engine products. This will include the integration of high-speed Silicon Photonics (PIC), with reflowable optical connector, multi-channel FAU, micro-lens alignment, and laser coupling. Candidate will need to work with laser, passive optics, FAU, and internal and external PIC suppliers to ensure the final CPO and Light Engine product meets performance specification and bring products from concept to production with good yield and reliability.
