Job Description
Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) is a commercial real estate financing solution that enables property owners to upgrade existing buildings or complete capital stacks for new construction projects. PACE Loan Group (PLG) is a leading direct lender in this space.
We are seeking a Capital Markets Analyst with 1-3 years of experience to join our team and support the growth of our financing facilities. This is a high-impact role where you will work directly with our Capital Markets leadership. The role will assist the analysis and modeling of the company’s securitization platform and support secondary market strategy.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Support the sourcing and execution of new warehouse lines, credit facilities, and other structured financing arrangements
- Perform analysis for PACE transactions including analysis of collateral and deal structure
- Build and maintain financial models to support deal structuring and scenario analysis
- Support initiatives focused on process automation, workflow optimization, and data integrity
- Track and maintain the pipeline of capital markets opportunities and lender relationships
- Support securitization and secondary market execution, including coordination with legal, accounting, and third parties
- Assist in monitoring compliance with existing facility covenants and reporting requirements
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in commercial real estate (CRE) or structured finance-related fields, e.g. banking, private credit, asset management, valuation services. Exposure to CMBS, ABS, consumer/specialty finance, or similar asset classes strongly preferred
- Passion for commercial real estate and structured finance
- Strong financial modeling skills in Excel
- Experience with Claude is a plus or other AI tools
- Ability to synthesize complex information into clear, concise materials for senior stakeholders
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills; able to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
- Comfortable working in a lean, fast-moving environment where you own your work end-to-end
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, math, accounting, business, economics or a related field.
