Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Executive Assistant to provide high-level support to our Chief Property Officer and Campus Environment team on a 7-month fixed-term basis. While the role is focused on partnering closely with one senior leader, you will also engage with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders across the University.
Campus Environment is the University of Auckland’s service division responsible for managing and enhancing the physical, social and wellbeing environments across all campuses, supporting a safe, welcoming and sustainable experience for students, staff and visitors.
This is a busy and varied position that sits at the centre of a high-performing and professional division. You will play an important role in ensuring effective communication, coordination and support, bringing a proactive and well-organised approach to managing priorities and enabling business outcomes.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing high-quality executive support including diary, calendar and time management
- Coordinating meetings, travel, events and communications on behalf of the Chief Property Officer
- Acting as a first point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring a professional and responsive service
- Supporting the flow of information, documentation and decision making across the team
- Collaborating with other Executive Assistants and colleagues to ensure alignment and consistency
- Taking a proactive approach to problem solving and guiding stakeholders to the right information and support
This is a fixed-term, full-time position (37.5 hours per week), running for 7 months. The salary range for this role is $78,600 to $90,000, negotiable depending on skills and experience.

You are an experienced Executive Assistant or Personal Assistant who has supported senior leaders in a fast-paced environment. You bring a proactive and solutions-focused mindset, with the confidence to anticipate needs, manage competing priorities and maintain a high level of professionalism across a wide range of responsibilities.
You enjoy building strong working relationships and contributing to a collaborative team environment. You take pride in delivering accurate and well-organised work, while also being adaptable and resilient. E rapua ana mātou | We are seeking
- Proven experience providing executive support to senior leaders in a busy environment
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively
- Confident and professional written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with diary management, travel coordination, meeting support and documentation
- Strong attention to detail, including document editing and presentation support
- A collaborative approach, with sound problem solving skills and the ability to manage stakeholder expectations
