Job description
We are looking for an experienced FIN Functional Expert / Architect to support Finance initiatives within the MEA region. This is a business-facing role requiring close cooperation with stakeholders, global teams and project delivery teams.
The person in this role will be be responsible for validating and approving proposed Finance-related changes, ensuring alignment with business requirements and global standards.
Note: Due to the critical project timeline, we are looking for candidates who are available to start immediately or within 2-3 weeks of the hiring decision .
Responsibilities
- Act as a Finance expert and advisor, providing functional expertise within SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA environments.
- Validate and approve proposed changes impacting the MEA region from a business perspective.
- Support business stakeholders and represent the Finance domain during governance meetings and decision-making gates.
- Collaborate with project teams and the global COE Finance organisation throughout development, commissioning and hypercare phases.
- Provide functional leadership during analysis, design and configuration activities related to Finance processes.
- Support Business Integration Testing activities, including planning, execution, issue analysis and resolution.
- Act as a subject matter expert during Cutover planning, preparation and execution, including dry runs and rehearsals.
- Provide support during Go-Live and Hypercare phases to ensure smooth business operations.
- Prepare and maintain required project documentation, including Governance Forms, Functional Specifications, Configuration Rationales and handover materials.
Requirements
- Strong experience in SAP Finance, including SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA.
- Good understanding of Finance and Controlling business processes.
- Experience working in international environments and collaborating with business stakeholders.
- Experience supporting testing, cutover and go-live activities.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Availability to start within 2–3 weeks is essential due to the critical timeline of the project.
