Job description
- Handles the maintenance and mechanical repair tasks on ground equipment;
- Handles the maintenance and mechanical repair tasks on heavy/ light weight Air Transat vehicles.
- Relevant training and/or experience in this specific field.
- Experience in body bodywork with a mastery of welding (mig and tig),an asset.
- Great desire to learn all the facets of the trade.
- Team spirit, resourcefulness, ability to meet deadlines, detail oriented.
- Knowledge of propane, electrical, diesel and gas propulsive equipment; an asset.
- Ability to obtain RAIC card and DA drivers permit (Airport pass from Transport Canada).
A good knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec. The incumbent will be required to communicate and collaborate in English, both orally and in writing, with colleagues, customers, and other stakeholders in Quebec, the rest of Canada, and internationally.
