Essential Job Skills/Duties
- Defines qualification and reliability testing methods per requirements
- Maintains work instructions and job aids for compliant execution
- Manages qualification/reliability systems and documentation (incl. deviations)
- Conducts material analysis and product characterization for global support
- Reviews failure analysis (FA) reports and provides advanced insights/solutions
- Evaluates reports and drives continuous improvement initiatives
- Monitors lab inventory of parts, materials, and products
- Supports qualification and reliability engineering team activities
- Leads continuous improvement projects on test methodologies
- Collaborates cross-functionally to enhance quality and processes

Required Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (BSECE, BSEE, BSME, BSMetE, BSMatE preferred)
- Minimum of 2 years work experience in consumer electronics manufacturing set-up or Completed the Asurion Cadetship or equivalent program
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in laboratory and reliability testing
- Preferably with 2 years experience in failure analysis and metrology such as but not limited to SEM-EDS, 3D X-ray Imaging, CMM, etc.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- May mentor junior team members.
