1. Requirements Leadership & Functional Analysis - 40%

· Lead requirements gathering and analysis for complex AMS migration projects (Applied Epic, AMS360, Vertafore) and ETL pipeline initiatives

· Own the development and maintenance of comprehensive business requirements documents (BRDs), functional specifications, data mapping documents, and conversion scope agreements

· Conduct in-depth analysis of source system data structures, business rules, and agency workflows to identify conversion logic, transformation requirements, and data quality risks

· Write and review SQL queries to validate data assumptions, cross-reference source/target data, and support requirements verification

· Facilitate structured requirements workshops and discovery sessions with client stakeholders and internal technical teams

· Define and maintain requirements traceability from business need through technical implementation and UAT sign-off

2. UAT Coordination & Quality Assurance - 25%

· Design and lead user acceptance testing (UAT) plans, test cases, and acceptance criteria for conversion deliverables

· Coordinate UAT execution with client stakeholders and internal teams, tracking defects, resolutions, and sign-off status

· Partner with Data Analysts to validate that implemented conversions match documented business rules and mapping specifications

· Identify and escalate functional gaps, data discrepancies, or scope changes that arise during testing cycles

· Maintain post-conversion review documentation and ensure lessons learned are captured for continuous improvement

3. Client & Stakeholder Engagement - 25%

· Serve as the primary business analyst point of contact for clients throughout the data conversion project lifecycle

· Translate complex technical conversion concepts into clear business language for agency stakeholders and project sponsors

· Manage stakeholder expectations around scope, timelines, and change requests, escalating issues appropriately

· Collaborate with project managers to maintain project plans, risk registers, and status reporting

· Support contract and scope documentation by providing functional input on conversion deliverables and acceptance criteria

4. Teamwork & Collaboration (Standard) - 10%

· Mentor and provide guidance to Business Analysts on the team, supporting requirements best practices and professional development

· Foster a respectful and collaborative environment by upholding professionalism and engaging in constructive and respectful conversations

· Support a positive workplace culture by promoting open, solution-oriented communication, encouraging teamwork, and maintaining a focus on shared goals and productivity
