Inside the Role

The Head of Network & Supply Chain Management leads the integration of DTNA’s vehicle production supply chain, spanning order creation through inbound parts logistics, production scheduling, and outbound vehicle delivery. The role is responsible for the cost, coordination, and execution of inbound logistics to ensure uninterrupted production flow. Through executive oversight of supply chain planning and operations, the leader drives alignment, operational excellence, and consistent on-time delivery performance across the network.

The ideal candidate will design and implement supply chain strategies aligned with company objectives - driving clarity, operational excellence, and best-in-class customer experience.

The position carries full accountability for teams managing customer demand, application engineering (CAE), production scheduling, inbound logistics (IBL), strategies for third party external logistics providers (3PL), packaging, In-plant logistics standards, strategies for custom truck solutions (CTS), outbound logistics (OBL) and customer delivery.

What You Drive at DTNA

1. Customer Demand & Application Engineering

  • Monitor customer demand and develop production programs based on market forecasts
  • Lead conversion of customer specifications into accurate, executable Bills of Material
  • Oversee strategy and planning for Custom Truck Services (CTS) for value-added modifications, cost effectiveness, efficiency and growth
  • Drive standardization, lead time reduction, and error-proofing in order-to-build processes

2. Production & Operations Scheduling (End-to-End)

  • Own end-to-end production scheduling across all assembly plants
  • Balance demand, plant capacity, material availability, and operational constraint
  • Drive plan stability, sequencing efficiency, and schedule adherence
  • Oversee machining and component scheduling to ensure uninterrupted production flow
  • Synchronize component manufacturing with final assembly requirements

3. Transportation Procurement & Contract Management

  • Provide commercially viable transportation network solutions to all DTNA business units
  • Secure competitive, resilient supply through strategic procurement, disciplined negotiations, and robust contract management
  • Safeguard risk and performance through structured governance and standardized procurement processes

 4. Inbound Supply Chain – Transportation, 3PL, Packaging & In-plant Logistics Standards

  • Design a holistic, scalable logistics network with a digital backbone and disciplined standards. Drive the transformation toward automated network solutions
  • Manage inbound transportation (IBL) operations safeguarding on-time delivery
  • Govern inbound network execution through strategic oversight of external logistics providers and consolidation centers (3PL)
  • Build resilient supply chain capabilities and standardize logistics concepts across production plants
  • Drive end-to-end packaging readiness with forward-looking planning and flawless execution to safeguard supply continuity
  • Unlock value across global DT network by driving synergies and scaling high-impact opportunities company-wide

 5. Outbound Logistics & Customer Delivery

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of finished trucks to dealers and customers
  • Optimize transportation modes, delivery lead times, and cost
  • Ensure high reliability and transparency in the order-to-delivery process
  • Customer-first execution, one network – delivering superior customer experience 

6. Leadership & Organizational Impact

  • Provide strategic & operational leadership across a multi-functional, multi-site organization
  • Ensure strong cross-functional collaboration and alignment to deliver end-to-end value stream performance through network solutions

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree and 12+ years of experience across multiple supply chain functions
  • Proven expertise in global logistics with a strong DT global network
  • Executive procurement experience driving sourcing strategies and value creation
  • Strong business acumen with demonstrated experience managing financial performance; preferred experience with P&L responsibility, particularly in complex operational or CTS-like environments
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills with the ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholders, including customers, partners, and cross-functional teams
  • Strong expertise in logistics networks, systems and demand fulfillment
  • Demonstrated success in operational excellence and business performance
