The Role – What You’ll Be Doing 

As Gas Engineering Supervisor, you’ll combine hands-on technical work with team leadership to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient gas services across multiple sites. 

Leadership & Team Development 

  • Lead, support, and motivate a team of Gas Engineers and technicians 

  • Mentor junior engineers and drive technical excellence 

  • Deliver regular safety briefings, audits, and training sessions 

Technical & Compliance Excellence 

  • Carry out advanced diagnostics, repairs, and installations 

  • Ensure 100% compliance with Gas Safety Regulations 

  • Oversee gas inspections, certification, and documentation 

  • Manage SharePoint systems including compliance tracking and calibration records 

  • Audit works and lead investigations where required 

Client & Stakeholder Engagement 

  • Build strong relationships with clients, building managers, and contractors 

  • Coordinate maintenance and ensure minimal service disruption 

  • Attend and contribute to monthly Gas forums 

Emergency Response 

  • Take control of emergency gas situations 

  • Lead rapid response teams to ensure safe and effective resolution 

 

What We’re Looking For 

You’ll be a technically strong engineer with leadership experience and a passion for high standards. 

  • Gas Safe registered with full commercial and domestic qualifications 
    (CCN1, CPA1, CENWAT, COCN1, CODNCO1, ICPN1, CORT1, CDGA1, CIGA1, TPCP1A) 

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in commercial gas engineering 

  • Proven experience leading or mentoring engineers 

  • Strong knowledge of commercial plant rooms, boilers, and heating systems 

  • Confident with compliance, audits, and technical documentation 

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills 

  • Full UK driving licence
