About the Role
We are looking for a Shipping Data Products & Analytics Lead to drive the development of high-impact data products within our Shipping Solution Domain .
This role sits at the center of our Digital Solutions organization and is responsible for turning vessel (OT) data, shipping operations data, and enterprise data into trusted, real-time insights and scalable data products .
You will enable better decision-making, operational performance, and customer visibility by ensuring that shipping data is accurate, accessible, and actionable across the business.
Job Description
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Own Shipping Data Products
•
Define and deliver data products for vessel operations, voyage performance, and cargo execution
•
Build scalable, reusable data assets supporting both operational and analytical use cases
Connect Vessel (OT) Data to Enterprise Systems
•
Lead integration of real-time data from vessels and shipping systems
•
Ensure reliable, standardized, and near real-time data flow into digital platforms
Enable Reporting & Analytics
•
Establish trusted datasets for
• •
Voyage performance
• •
Schedule reliability

Capacity utilization

Customer visibility
•
Partner with analytics teams to deliver impactful dashboards and insights
Drive Data Quality & Governance
•
Ensure shipping data meets enterprise standards for quality, consistency, and ownership

Collaborate with data governance and architecture teams to maintain a single source of truth
Collaborate Across Domains
•
Work closely with Commercial, Logistics, and Order-to-Cash domains
•
Ensure shipping data flows seamlessly across end-to-end processes

Job Requirements
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
Domain Expertise
•
Strong understanding of shipping operations (voyage, stowage, scheduling, execution)
•
Experience working with operational data and/or vessel-related systems
Data & Technology
- Excellent knowledge on business data modeling and data architectures utilizing Data Mesh
- Excellent knowledge on Data products & analytics utilizing MS Fabrics / MS SQL
- Experience with company scale data platforms based on MS Fabrics, Power BI and other relevant Microsoft technologies
- Streaming APIs for MS Fabric for IoT/OT environments is a strong plus
Product & Leadership Mindset
•
Ability to own and prioritize a data product roadmap
•
Strong stakeholder management across business and technology
•
Proven experience translating business needs into data-driven solutions
