We are looking for a Senior HR Systems Specialist who will own the configuration and delivery of HR Shared Services technologies, who will lead system optimisation and who will support cross‑functional services aligned to business and operational goals.

✅WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to assess technological, support, and security requirements.
  • Proactively manage vendors of third-party systems, ensuring information sharing and compliance
  • Influence other subject matter experts to accept new concepts, practices, and approaches.
  • Build strong, trusting cross-functional relationships with DHL managers at all levels.
  • Understand customer and key stakeholders' interests and concerns
  • Provide technical guidance to line managers and employees, adapting to the audience
  • Lead the development and execution of Shared Services plans and programs, leveraging technologies to enhance and maintain the shared services system architecture. From conceptualization to delivery and ongoing refinement, provide comprehensive services across diverse functions within the Shared Services environment.
  • Efficiently schedule, prioritise, and oversee operational plans for troubleshooting, support, and the seamless functioning of People Services tools and systems. Implement best practices to ensure the effective delivery of the HR Shared Service and other cross functional clients.
  • Streamline day-to-day administration by implementing innovative solutions for Shared Services, balancing the need for efficiency with a commitment to cost-effectiveness. Execute plans and processes that drive operational excellence while aligning with the organisation's strategic goals.
  • Lead the design and development of scalable, secure and standardised solutions within the Oracle B2C Service Cloud (RightNow) platform, ensuring alignment with DHL's global HR IT architecture and service delivery objectives.
  • Develop high‑quality system components including Custom Scripts, Custom Processes, BUI Extensions/Add‑Ins, Business Rules and optimised Workspaces that enhance operational efficiency within People Services and deliver a consistent employee experience.
  • Build and maintain robust integrations using REST APIs to ensure accurate, seamless data flow between Oracle B2C and wider DHL enterprise systems, supporting end‑to‑end process performance across HR, Payroll, IT and business operations.
  • Apply strong technical capability across PHP, .NET, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, ROQL and ConnectPHP to deliver solutions that meet stringent internal control requirements and support long‑term system sustainability.
  • Leverage integration middleware such as Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) to orchestrate cross‑system automation, enabling process standardisation, risk reduction and improved service responsiveness.
  • Administer and optimise Oracle B2C platform components including Job Scheduler, Element Manager, Data Sync and External Objects to maintain system stability, data integrity and operational resilience.
  • Use strong SQL and database knowledge to analyse issues, support root‑cause investigations, validate data structures, and ensure system behaviour meets DHL audit, compliance and performance standards.

✅WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • Ideally 6+ years of relevant experience
  • Ideally 6+ years in‑depth HR, payroll or business experience
  • Ideally additionally 3+ years in-depth experience in HR, process improvement/management, system management and/or project management
  • Expert understanding of transactional HR processes related to payroll systems and processes in particular
  • Ability to analyse payroll systems and processes and provide recommendation for optimizing them
  • Good general business and operational management experience
  • Basic technical knowledge of global and regional systems, ideally Oracle HCM Cloud, Kronos Workforce Central and ResourceLink
  • Proven experience developing and supporting technical solutions using scripting and coding languages such as PHP, .NET, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, ROQL and ConnectPHP.
  • Demonstrated capability using REST APIs and related integration scripting to connect HR and Shared Services systems.
