Job description
Job Purpose: Lead implementation of Globla Finance strategy and financial operations and have overall responsibility for the Finance function to maintain short and long-term financial health. Member of country SMT as well as Statutory director of local legal enity. Partner, advise and challenge the management team in line with country business strategy, financial policies, legal framework and accounting standards.
Key Tasks
- Lead implementation of Global Finance strategy and direct team with higher focus on compliance and operational finance activities. Close cooperation with DHL SSC team management.
- Implement Finance strategy, plans and initiatives for a medium sized country including all financial management services (OTC, Controlling as well as Accounting), planning, analysis, reporting and budgets considering country business strategy, financial policies, legal framework and accounting standards
- Ensure planning and delivery of Finance services and processes related to two or more of the Finance Job Families (e.g. a combination of RTR, PTP and Controlling activities) to achieve financial transparency, maintain short and long-term financial health, and advise and consult the management team on financial matters
- Maintain vendor/ service relationship and service level agreements with specific business unit/ partner for various financial services
- Develop and implement improvements in existing financial processes, systems and methods for enhanced effectiveness and efficiency Stakeholders:
- Communicate and influence senior business leaders as pet of country SMT as well as representing the company externally.
- Develop strong, trusting relationships with senior business leaders across DHL
- Cooperate with and coordinate 3rd parties e.g. external service providers and authorities.
- May lead negotiations Management responsibility:
- Manage a department or a midium unit that includes multiple teams led by Managers and/or Team Leaders as well as sooperation with SSC management. Requirements for the job:
- Bachelors Degree
- Expected experience: preferred more than 3 years management position
- Language: Hungarian (preferred, not prerequisite), English (fluent in writing and speaking)
