Job Description

Circle K Business Centre in Riga is looking for a driven and engaged colleague to join our Distribution & Compliance Support Team, with the responsibility of supporting fuel distribution processes across North America and Europe.

Distribution Compliance Officer

Type of Employment: Permanent

Location: Riga, Latvia

Visa requirements: A valid work permit from the EU/EEA (relocation assistance is not provided)

WHAT YOU'LL DO 

• Monitor and maintain processes within Global Distribution Support Department to ensure that established standards and management requirements are met.

• Identify and escalate any instances of non-compliance or significant issues to the responsible personnel and monitor the effectiveness of corrective actions.

• Participate in internal process mapping and standardization initiatives to improve operational efficiency.

• Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) upon management request, ensuring processes are clearly documented, up to date, and aligned with regulatory expectations.

• Perform audits on Global Distribution processes as requested by management.

• Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to continuously develop and implement new quality checks to ensure compliance.

• Contribute to upcoming projects and support their implementation. 

WHAT YOU'LL NEED 

• Degree in Logistics, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field will be considered an advantage.

• 1–2 years of experience in Logistics, Compliance, Internal Audit, Quality Control, or other related fields.

• Fluency in English (both verbal and written) to communicate with colleagues in Europe.

• Good knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

• Proactive, detail oriented and improvement driven personality.

• Strong commitment to continuous learning and professional development in Logistics and Compliance.
