As an Audit & Assurance - Products & Services - Manager, you will play a pivotal role in providing independent and objective assessments of financial statements and internal controls, enhancing the credibility of this information for various stakeholders. Within our Assurance practice, you will focus on evaluating compliance with regulations and assessing governance and risk management processes. As a Manager, you will lead teams and manage client accounts, focusing on strategic planning and mentoring junior staff. You are accountable for project success and maintaining standards, motivating and inspiring others to deliver quality. You are responsible for coaching, leveraging team members' unique strengths, and managing performance to deliver on client expectations.

In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will take ownership of projects, confirming their successful planning, budgeting, execution, and completion. You will develop skills outside your comfort zone and encourage others to do the same, using the review of work as an opportunity to deepen the skills of team members. You will address conflicts or issues, engaging in conversations with clients, team members, and other stakeholders, while upholding professional and technical standards. Responsibilities

  • Leading audits and financial statement reviews to provide objective assessments of financial information
  • Evaluating compliance with regulations and assessing governance and risk management processes
  • Analyzing financial statements to identify potential misstatements due to fraud or error
  • Developing audit plans and methodologies to enhance the credibility and reliability of financial information
  • Coaching and mentoring team members to leverage their strengths and deliver quality client service
  • Utilizing data analysis and interpretation skills to support audit engagements and decision-making
  • Collaborating with client leadership to address conflicts and engage in challenging conversations
  • Upholding professional and technical standards, including compliance with PwC's code of conduct
  • Implementing innovative technologies and methodologies to improve audit processes and outcomes
  • Reviewing and verifying financial documents to validate accuracy and compliance with accounting standards

What You Must Have

  • At least a Bachelor's degree in the following field of study: Accounting or Chartered Accountant
  • At least 4 years of experience
  • At least one of the following: US Licensed CPA or Chartered Accountant
  • Oral and written proficiency in English required
