Job description
Are you detail-oriented with a knack for customer communication and a background in trucking or dealership service? TCI is looking for a Body Shop Invoicer to keep our repair order process running accurately and efficiently.
Shift Available:
- This position will work Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm.
What You'll Do
You'll be the bridge between our Body Shop and our customers - reviewing completed repair orders for accuracy, coordinating with our Warranty team, and making sure invoices go out correctly and on time. Day to day, that looks like:
- Reviewing RO packets to confirm documentation meets company and OEM warranty requirements
- Analyzing estimates and collaborating with teammates to catch and correct discrepancies before they become problems
- Reading, summarizing, and editing tech notes in our Dealer Management System (Procede) while preserving accurate complaint, cause, and work-performed narratives
- Confirming parts and labor charges, securing authorizations, and sending invoices to customers
- Using warranty resources to look up documentation processes, OEM policies, and account status for accurate coding
- Scanning and organizing completed ROs into our file management system
- Working with the Warranty department to close invoices and resolve deficiencies
- Monitoring customer satisfaction reports and taking action to protect TCI's reputation for service
- Tracking open ROs and helping the team meet average days-to-close goals
- Answering customer questions about billing and repairs with a calm, solutions-focused approach
What We're Looking For:
- 1+ year of experience in mechanical, trucking, or dealer service (2+ years preferred)
- Knowledge of Service and/or Body Shop department operations; Mechanical aptitude or truck repair experience is highly preferred
- Demonstrated customer service and interpersonal communications skills, even in times of stress
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to catch errors before they leave your desk
- Knowledge of computer operations, data entry, and MS Office with 30wpm typing capability; Procede software experience is a plus
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
WHAT WE OFFER:
Pay Range: $42,481.92 - $63,722.88 per year with incentive eligibility
- 401(k) with company match
- Health insurance with 3 plan options to choose from
- Vision Insurance
- Dental Insurance
- Paid time off including paid volunteer time
- Disability insurance
- FSA and HSA options
- Company paid Life and AD&D insurance
- Maternity leave
- Employee assistance program
- Wellness program
