Job description
REQUIREMENTS:
- Total experience:8+ years
- Should have hands-on SAP experience, with at least 3 years in an architect or lead consultant capacity
- Should have practical experience leveraging AI for code generation, code review, test-case generation, and documentation automation in SAP/ABAP and non-SAP stacks.
- Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants and agentic developer tools, including Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and SAP Joule.
- Should have working knowledge of LLM orchestration and routing frameworks such as LiteLLM, LangChain, or LlamaIndexfor multi-model enterprise integration.
- Should have familiarity with MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers, prompt engineering, and integrating LLMs with enterprise tools (Jira, ADO, SolMan, Confluence).
- Should have exposure to RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines and vector stores (e.g., pgvector, Pinecone, Weaviate) for enterprise knowledge use cases.
- Should have deep understanding of SAP ECC 6 / EHP 8 architecture, ABAP development standards, transport management, and multi-tier release governance.
- Should have working knowledge of SAP ChaRM and SAP Solution Manager (SolMan 7.2)..
- Should have solid grasp of SAP module integration (FI/CO, MM, SD, P2P) and interfacing with non-SAP systems via IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, PI/PO, or APIs.
- Should have proven experience in solution architecture, landscape design, and writing/reviewing HLDs and LLDs
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Understanding functional requirements thoroughly and analysing the client’s needs in the context of the project
- Envisioning the overall solution for defined functional and non-functional requirements, and being able to define technologies, patterns, and frameworks to realize it.
- Determining and implementing design methodologies and tool sets
- Enabling application development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities.
- Being able to lead/support UAT and production roll outs.
- Creating, understanding, and validating WBS and estimated effort for given module/task, and being able to justify it.
- Addressing issues promptly, responding positively to setbacks and challenges with a mindset of continuous improvement
- Giving constructive feedback to the team members and setting clear expectations.
- Helping the team in troubleshooting and resolving of complex bugs
- Coming up with solutions to any issue that is raised during code/design review and being able to justify the decision taken.
- Carrying out POCs to make sure that suggested design/technologies meet the requirements.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
