Responsibilities
Do you have a knack for navigating the complexities of Medicaid eligibility? Then join us as a Regional Floating Medicaid Application Specialist. In an assigned geography, you will improve the quality of all revenue cycle management Medicaid Eligibility related functions, from patient pre-admission to discharge, to optimize revenue collection.
Position Highlights *Provide comprehensive training and support to nursing center staff on Medicaid eligibility processes, policies, and best practices.
*Identify and address center-specific challenges that hinder timely Medicaid collections.
*Collaborate with nursing center staff, Business Office Managers, Market Medicaid Advisors, and County/State caseworkers to ensure positive outcomes.
*Develop a deep understanding of financial and clinical eligibility requirements, asset limits, and state-specific long-term care Medicaid rules.
*Monitor key performance indicators, analyze data, and implement strategies to optimize revenue collection.
Qualifications
*High school diploma and a minimum of 5 years of experience in nursing home bookkeeping.

Posted Salary Range
USD $60,000.00 - USD $65,000.00 /Yr.
