The Senior Human Resources Manager serves as the senior HR leader for McNeilus' Dodge Center manufacturing facility, providing strategic and operational HR leadership across the site. This role leads a team of HR professionals supporting both salaried office team members and hourly production team members.
As a trusted advisor to business and operations leaders, this position develops and executes people strategies that drive engagement, leadership effectiveness, organizational performance, and business results. As a member of the Dodge Center leadership team, the Senior Human Resources Manager plays a key role in shaping workforce strategy, culture, and talent outcomes.
YOUR IMPACT
These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned:
Serve as the primary HR leader for the Dodge Center site, supporting both office and manufacturing operations.
Lead, coach, and develop a team of HR professionals while driving execution of key HR priorities.
Partner with leaders to develop and implement workforce, talent, engagement, and organizational strategies that support business objectives.
Provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, talent planning, and employment law.
Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence to deliver effective HR programs and solutions.
Drive workforce planning, succession planning, leadership development, and organizational effectiveness initiatives.
Use data and business insights to identify opportunities and influence talent and business decisions.
Foster a positive, high performing culture that supports employee engagement, retention, and growth.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Eight (8) or more years of progressive Human Resources experience across multiple HR disciplines.
Experience leading and developing HR professionals.
STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS
PHR, SPHR, SHRM CP, or SHRM SCP certification.
Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience leading HR within a manufacturing facility or multi shift operation.
Strong business acumen with the ability to translate business priorities into people strategies.
Proven ability to influence leaders, lead change, and drive organizational effectiveness.
Experience leveraging workforce analytics and data driven insights to support decision making.
WORKING CONDITIONS
The following represents general working conditions for this office-based role. Specific conditions may vary depending on business needs and individual circumstances.
This role is primarily performed in a professional office environment with standard lighting, ventilation, and temperature-controlled settings.
Duties are largely sedentary, requiring extended periods of sitting and using a computer and telephone.
Visual acuity to operate a computer and read documents is required, along with auditory ability to participate in virtual and in-person meetings.
Occasional movement within the office environment is necessary, including walking short distances, standing, or reaching for files. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this role.
Pay Range:
$118,700.00 - $211,300.00The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
