WHAT YOU’LL DO
We’re looking for a Warehouse Procurement Expert to lead sourcing and negotiation activities for our warehouse operations across the continent. In this role, you’ll play a key part in securing the best possible supplier setup by driving procurement processes end-to-end and ensuring strong alignment with both business needs and global strategies.
Working closely with stakeholders across local, regional, and global teams, you’ll combine a strong commercial mindset with market insights to build sustainable, high-performing supplier partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end procurement and re-negotiation processes, from sourcing and bid evaluation to supplier selection and contract finalization
- Ensure procurement activities are aligned with operational needs, commercial goals, and warehouse category strategies (e.g. sustainability, service levels, facility standards)
- Collaborate with key stakeholders across all levels to define needs, assess suppliers, evaluate offers, and support decision-making
- Act as a center of excellence for procurement, developing tools, templates, and ways of working to strengthen capabilities across teams
- Support local warehouse teams in their own procurement initiatives when needed
- Partner with commercial and contract management teams to drive optimal sourcing and negotiation strategies
- Present procurement outcomes and recommend the best commercial solutions
- Ensure all procurement activities follow governance processes, approval frameworks, and policies
- Drive market analysis, benchmarking, and due diligence to strengthen sourcing decisions
- Maintain accurate data and continuously improve procurement tools and processes for better transparency and efficiency
- Stay connected to operational performance, KPIs, risks, and developments across the logistics network
- Identify and support sustainability improvements across suppliers and sourcing decisions
WHO YOU ARE
We are looking for people with…
- Experienced in procurement and negotiation within logistics or supply chain environments
- Comfortable managing tenders (RFI/RFQ) and working in structured procurement processes, even under time pressure
- A strong collaborator who can build trust and work effectively across global, regional, and local teams
- Knowledgeable about supplier requirements, including compliance, sustainability, and performance expectations
- Analytical and business-driven, with a clear focus on value creation and cost optimization
- Structured and able to prioritize, manage multiple activities, and keep momentum
- Confident in presenting insights, recommendations, and decision material to stakeholders
- Strategic thinker with a solid understanding of logistics operations and supply chain flows
- Clear and focused communicator who knows how to simplify complexity and drive action
