Job Summary: Position Summary

The Buyer / Production Control Coordinator is responsible for supporting the procurement, inventory management, and production planning activities for a fiber laser manufacturing facility serving both internal and external customers. This role combines strategic purchasing responsibilities with hands-on production control coordination to ensure material availability, inventory accuracy, and uninterrupted manufacturing flow.

The position supports raw material purchasing, supplier coordination, inventory management, work order scheduling, and production execution activities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role requires strong organizational skills, ERP/MRP system proficiency, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing, engineering, quality, logistics, and suppliers.
