Do You Want to Work in a Safe, Inclusive, and Equitable Environment?

You will have the unique opportunity to report directly to Operations Manager for North & Central Europe, work on‑site at our factory in Poland (ul. Modrzewiowa 2, Niepruszewo, BUK,64-320), lead 2 direct reports,  and work closely with colleagues across the site, providing guidance, structure, and expertise in both daily operations and long‑term improvements.

What you can look forward to in this Role

  • Compliance & HSE governance → This includes all your points on legislation, ISO systems (14001/45001/50001), ATEX, fire safety, environmental permits, reporting to authorities, audits, and maintaining HSE documentation and systems.
  • Risk & process safety → This covers explosion risk assessments, hazardous zone classification, chemical storage, VOC/solvent exposure, HAZOP, MOC, emergency response, drills, gas detection, spill kits, and permit‑to‑work systems.
  • Incident management & continuous improvement → This includes RCA, CAPA, accident reporting systems, near‑miss reporting, trend analysis, SOP development, LOTO, and all improvement programs.
  • Training, leadership & safety culture → This captures HSE training, coaching managers, BBS programs, safety observations, ergonomics, occupational health surveillance, medical checks, and visitor safety.
  • Sustainability, environment & performance → This includes energy reduction, VOC and carbon footprint monitoring, waste management, environmental impact targets, sustainability initiatives, KPI dashboards, and data‑driven decision making.
  • Any further responsibilities delegated by the company to ensure the role is carried out effectively.

Are You Inspired to Contribute to a Mission That Goes Beyond Numbers? These are the key qualifications and competencies we are looking for.

  • Academic background in in HSE / Safety Engineering or postgraduate studies in Occupational Health & Safety (OHS).
  • 3–5 years of experience in HSE.
  • Previous experience from coating and/or chemical industry is desirable. Production; ATEX-regulated environments would be highly valuable.
  • Leadership, multitasking and communication skills.
  • MS office (PPT, Word, Excel, Visio), (MS programs).
  • Proficiency in both English and Polish
  • High computer skills
