About the Role
Responsible for providing assistance to Reinsurance Manager covering in the timely and accurate preparation and analysis of Reinsurance items in the financial reports and projections and providing overall support for reinsurance administration and management covering AIA Group
- Assist in generating monthly reinsurance financial projections and accurate valuation reports for IFRS, STAT and EBS (Bermuda Basis) reporting with the latter being prepared in behalf of AIA Re.
- Assist in performing quarterly valuation control checks and variance analysis to AIA Re for each individual treaty and ensure detailed expanded reporting needed for its coinsurance arrangements.
- Prepare timely statements and ensure liability accruals are made for both internal and external reinsurers. This includes timely submission to insurance regulators at specific intervals of the required reinsurance templates and data.
- Assist in preparing control evidences for Internal and External Auditor for reinsurance related audits pertaining to valuation and/or pricing
- Performs other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by supervisor in order to meet operational and/or other requirements.
