Job description
The primary role of this position is to perform basic to advanced compliance evaluations to support development, sustaining and production of instruments for environmental and instrument compliance. Performs compliance approvals of engineering changes, enters and maintains compliance data in the Agile PLM system to ensure compliance of new products and continued compliance of current products to the regulatory requirements of relevant global laws and regulations.
Essential Functions:
- Used standardized procedures to apply country and state restrictions
- Stays current on product compliance regulations and helps ensure product compliance. Collaborates on any changes to environmental standards and regulations and impacts to product compliance process including RoHS, REACH, CEPA, TSCA, POPs
- Prepare product documentation for environmental certification
- Ensures all documentation is submitted and maintained in centralized compliance system including compliance documentation and certifications
- Assists with Compliance Engineering Change Order (ECO) approvals and documentation. Research and review ECOs for impact on product compliance
- Work closely with engineering and NPIC teams to ensure that the instruments meet current compliance requirements. Audits processes and documentation to ensure compliance
- Provide knowledge of compliance topics to project managers and engineers
- Assist with response to external audits including development of action plans to quickly resolve any possible discrepancies
- Assist Product Environmental Compliance Manager on larger and more complex projects.
- Follows and applies Veralto Enterprise Systems (VES) processes, standard work and procedures.
- Provides communication to impacted business units
- Handles customer requests
- Obtains supporting documentation (Self Declarations of Conformity, Compliance Declarations, Test Reports)
- Supports revisions to and maintenance of departmental documentation, which includes updating work instructions
- Ensures compliance data for items is populated correctly in Agile
- Reviews and approves manufacturer part declarations, RoHS CoCs and product deviations
Education, Background and Skill Requirements
· BS or BA in Engineering or the physical sciences, or equivalent experience.
· Project management training, a plus.
· 4 years of experience in a new product implementation role or design engineering position.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
The compensation range for this role is $65,000 - $70,000 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
