This position is responsible for evaluating the quality of the product while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

This position is responsible for evaluating the quality of the product while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Responsible for monitoring machines as needed an notifying Supervisor of any mechanical breakdowns. Responsible for recognizing, removing, and discarding systemic diseased birds and or/viscera packages, removal of parts due to disease and contamination, removing birds from the line for reprocessing due to defects. Trimming disease and contamination from the product as necessary.

This position requires 100% use of hands, arms, feet, and back, and standing 100% of the time. The ability to use scissors or knives is required, as well as following directions and acting quickly. The role involves lifting up to 10 lbs, as well as reaching and pulling.
