Job Summary
Responsible for coordinating and overseeing daily operational activities to support clinical and administrative functions. Ensures efficient workflows, compliance with policies, and effective communication across departments. Serves as the primary point of contact for operational issues and provides guidance to staff to maintain high standards of service.Does this position require Patient Care? No
Essential Functions
-Coordinates and manages daily administrative and operational activities to support clinical departments.
- Covers and supports various sites' operations including main campus and satellite practice locations when Practice Manager vacancies occur.
-Monitors workflows and identifies opportunities for process improvement to enhance efficiency and patient care.
-Serves as a liaison between clinical staff, administrative teams, and leadership to ensure seamless communication.
-Ensures compliance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and operational standards.
-Manages scheduling, resource allocation, and logistics to support departmental needs at various site locations.
-Provides training and support to staff to ensure adherence to procedures and protocols.
-Develops and maintains accurate records, reports, and documentation related to operations.
-Resolves operational issues and escalates complex matters to leadership when necessary.
-Supports special projects as assigned across sites, collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to implement new initiatives and support organizational goals.
Qualifications
Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent required or Associate's Degree Healthcare Administration preferred or Associate's Degree Related Field of Study preferred

Licenses and Credentials
Experience
Experience in healthcare operations, administrative coordination, or a similar role 3-5 years required and Experience in a leadership or supervisory role 1-2 years preferred and Experience in a healthcare or hospital setting 1-2 years preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage complex operations effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with diverse teams.
- Proficiency in using administrative tools, scheduling software, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Problem-solving skills to address and resolve operational challenges promptly.
- Knowledge of hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Ability to travel to various Mass Eye and Ear satellites as needed.
