Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team. This role is critical to ensuring accurate and timely handling of incoming and outgoing shipments.
Schedule
- Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Days: Monday through Friday
Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments.
- Prepare and package outgoing orders for delivery.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and update systems.
- Coordinate with carriers for pickups and deliveries.
- Ensure compliance with safety and company procedures.
- Assist with warehouse organization and stock management.
- Build wooden crates for skids and packaging as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Experience with SAP systems.
- Experience with shipping systems such as FedEx Ship Manager.
- Previous experience in shipping/receiving or warehouse operations preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory systems.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Compensation
- Starting at $18.50 per hour, plus depending on experience.
