About the job
Are you passionate about building strong relationships and showcasing customer success stories that inspire and drive impact? Veeam is looking for a dynamic Customer Advocacy Manager to take the lead in creating powerful connections between our brand and the incredible customers who trust us to protect their data.
In this role, you’ll be the leader of Veeam’s customer advocacy program—developing a portfolio of advocates who are ready to share their experiences, celebrate their achievements, and promote Veeam as a trusted partner in data and cyber resiliency. Whether it’s spotlighting their success at industry events, crafting compelling narratives for testimonials, or enabling peer-to-peer engagements, you’ll be the driving force behind amplifying the voices of our customers.
You’ll collaborate across teams, including sales, marketing, engineering, and alliances, to identify customer stories that inspire and resonate. This is your chance to turn customer success into a strategic advantage and make a real impact on Veeam’s brand. If you’re creative, relationship-driven, and thrive on celebrating success, this is the role for you!
What You’ll Do
- Build Relationships That Matter: Cultivate and nurture lasting connections with key customer advocates, transforming them into champions for Veeam.
- Create a Portfolio of Stars: Develop a strategic portfolio of high-profile customer brands that can be celebrated in case studies, testimonials, and at industry events.
- Lead the Charge on Advocacy: Manage and maintain a database of public and private references, including advocates for peer-to-peer and NDA engagements, to drive value for sales and marketing.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with sales, marketing, customer success, engineering, and alliances to identify standout customer stories and grow the advocate pool.
- Showcase Success Stories: Coordinate customer interviews, craft compelling narratives, and oversee the review and approval process for advocacy assets like success stories, quotes, and videos.
- Drive Impactful Campaigns: Leverage customer voices in marketing campaigns, PR, AR, and field activities to strengthen brand trust and credibility.
- Track and Optimise: Monitor the use of advocacy assets across all formats, ensuring they deliver maximum impact for Veeam’s brand and sales initiatives.
- Produce High-Quality Content: Oversee supplier contracts and manage the creation of professional video testimonials and other advocacy assets.
- Be the Trusted Advisor: Serve as a go-to resource for sales and marketing teams, helping them harness the power of customer advocacy to support their goals.
- Innovate and Grow: Lead operational efficiency projects and explore new ways to elevate Veeam’s customer advocacy program.
- If you’re ready to turn customer success into a celebration, amplify their voices, and make a lasting impact on Veeam’s brand, we want you on our team! Join us and help shape the future of customer advocacy.
What You’ll Bring
Are you ready to bring your talents to a fast-paced, innovative team where you’ll make an impact every day? Here’s what we’re looking for:
- Education & Experience: A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field (or a combination of education and experience that proves you’re ready to shine).
- Industry Expertise: Marketing experience in the B2B technology space, especially within customer marketing—this is your chance to turn your knowledge into action.
- Organisational Rockstar: You’ve got top-notch organisational skills and project management expertise, keeping campaigns running smoothly and on schedule.
- Communication Pro: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and connect with customers and colleagues alike.
- Persuasive Power: Soft selling skills that allow you to inspire and influence without hard pressure—customers love working with you!
- Problem-Solving Guru: Strong decision-making skills and the ability to tackle challenges with creative solutions.
- Multitasking Master: Thrives in fast-paced environments and knows how to juggle multiple projects without breaking a sweat.
- Driven & Enthusiastic: You’re results-oriented, passionate about what you do, and bring energy to every task you take on.
