Job description
Skilled Wound Care is looking for a Payment Posting Specialist to join our rapidly growing company! We are a mobile surgical physician wound care group expanding into new markets of the United States. The Payment Posting Specilaist is critical to maintaining the financial accuracy and efficiency of our billing operations.
Position is hybrid at our office in Playa Vista, CA
Key Responsibilities:

Accurately post insurance and patient payments, adjustments, and denials using EOBs and ERAs

Reconcile daily payment batches and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner

Communicate with insurance carriers regarding payment variances and underpayments

Support the accounts receivable team to reduce outstanding balances

Maintaining compliance with billing regulations and payer-specific guidelines
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
-
Prior experience in medical billing or healthcare revenue cycle management

Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data entry

Familiarity with practice management and billing software

Working knowledge of CPT codes, ICD-10, and EOB/ERA processing

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- High School diploma or equivalent is required.
Pay:
- $21-23/hr Depending on experience
