About the Role
Join our team where you will play a key role in managing relationships with suppliers and vendors delivering IT field services across airport operations in Japan. This is a non-technical, relationship-driven role that focuses on service delivery performance, issue escalation, and operational coordination rather than deep technical hands-on work.
This role offers a growth path into regional management as operations expand to additional airport sites.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain collaborative relationships with IT field service suppliers and vendors.
Oversee supplier performance to ensure agreed service levels (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) are met.
Coordinate on-site IT support activities across airport environments (e.g., terminals, airside, landside) as needed.
Facilitate vendor governance meetings and work closely on performance reviews and improvement initiatives.
Respond to and manage supplier escalations, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication.
Validate invoices against services delivered and support budgeting process for supplier costs.
Partner with internal teams (leadership, Service Delivery Managers, Customer Support Managers) and external vendors for seamless service operations.
Ensure compliance with national regulations, cybersecurity standards, and safety guidelines in airport environments.
Support readiness for airport projects, system rollouts, and operational enhancements.
Skills & Qualifications
Strong experience in vendor or supplier management, including handling escalations and contractual adherence.
Understanding of IT Service Management principles (e.g., ITIL framework – certification optional but advantageous).
Experience with service performance tracking and reporting against metrics.
Effective relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
Strong problem-solving ability with an analytical mindset.
Proficiency in Japanese (for vendor and stakeholder communication) and basic English (for reporting and coordination).
Familiarity with airport IT systems such as check-in platforms (CUPPS), flight information systems (FIDS), and baggage handling is a plus but not mandatory.

- Occasional travel within Narita and Kansai airport locations.
- Hybrid work model
