Mandatory Reference Checking Scheme (“MRC”) for Hong Kong

The Mandatory Reference Checking Scheme is a framework to facilitate Authorized Institutions (“AIs”) to bilaterally obtain reference information during their recruitment process for certain positions, such that misconduct information in an individual’s previous employments can be provided to AIs to inform their employment decisions.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform checking of open account trade documents.
• Handle the assigned trade functions in an efficient and accurate manner.
• Provide professional opinions to trade customers.
• Perform other duties as delegated.

  Requirements:

• Secondary education or above is preferred.
• 5 to 8 years of experience in trade finance operations with at least 3 years in checking of open account trade documents is preferred.
• Solid skills and knowledge on open account trade documents checking including Trade Credit Insurance related products & documentation and trade finance transaction workflow in order to ensure open account trade transactions are processed accurately and efficiently
• Good understanding on the Bank’s policies and procedures, regulatory and compliance requirements in order to ensure all are strictly followed.
• Proficient in MS Office;
• Prudent and attentive to details;
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
