Shift: Thursdays 9:30a-5:00p, Fridays 3:00p-8:00p and Saturdays 9:00a-3:00p
Discharges patients when maximum benefit has been achieved and/or according to standards of practice and payor guidelines. Charges patients accurately and timely according to insurance guidelines, as applicable. Sets up and breaks down work area at the start and end of each shift. Cleans and maintains equipment, tools, and treatment areas daily. Provides direct and indirect massage services to specific age groups in the Spa and at offsite events and departments. Performs evaluations and re-evaluations according to standards and recommended techniques. Establishes, implements, and adapts individualized treatment plans of care, including appropriate goal setting, treatment activities, and frequency. Maintains area-specific productivity standards and markets the massage program in the hospital, community, and to medical personnel as indicated. Other duties as assigned. Promotes spa services at events both on and off-site as needed. Recommends retail products to clients and facilitates the sale of those products with the front desk staff as applicable.
Education:
• High School Grad or Equiv [Required]
Work Experience:
• 1+ providing massage therapy in a licensed environment [Preferred]
• 2+ providing massage therapy in a hospital based and/or sports medicine environment. [Preferred]
• Experience in medical massage, neuromuscular, myofascial, reflexology, sports massage, prenatal massage [Preferred]
Licenses and Certifications:
• Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) [Required]
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]

Pay Range:
