Job description
The Senior Project Manager will plan, execute, and effect the successful sign-off of InterSystems Corporation (TrakCare) projects within a country according to strict deadlines, within scope and within budget. The Senior Project Manager is accountable for project success and the day-to-day management of project execution which includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members in order to deliver projects according to agreed contracts, plans and project milestones. The Senior Project Manager will define the project’s objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle adhering to the controls within the InterSystems ARIES Customer Engagement Methodology. They will be responsible for monitoring customer and any third-party obligations and escalation of any agreed project variances. The Senior Project Manager must be available to visit customer sites and may be assigned to projects that require regular travel.
Key Responsibilities:
· Plan and execute TrakCare implementation projects within the country, ensuring adherence to timelines and budget.
· Take end-to-end responsibility for the project lifecycle, from day-to-day execution management to securing the necessary resources, ensuring effective team coordination so that the deployment is delivered according to contractual commitments and agreed deadlines.
· Define project objectives and oversee quality control throughout the entire project lifecycle, following InterSystems’ customer engagement methodology.
· Monitor customer and third-party obligations, managing escalations related to any agreed project changes.
· Be available for assignments requiring regular travel to customer sites (70–80% of the time).
Skills and Qualifications:
· Direct knowledge of the healthcare sector and 10+ years of experience with Hospital Information Systems (HIS).
· Experience managing implementation projects for integrated healthcare solutions in a customer-facing role, gained within public or private healthcare organizations.
· Experience overseeing the full project lifecycle, from kick-off to execution, go-live, and closure.
· Experience in resource management and in monitoring timelines and budgets.
· Proven ability to lead diverse and multidisciplinary teams.
· Strong communication skills at all levels of an organization.
· Experience managing contracts, including those involving third parties.
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Biomedical Engineering, Management Engineering).
· Exposure to software development processes.
· PMP certification.
