Overview
PenFed is hiring a Collateral Administrator to work onsite at our Omaha, Nebraska Service Center. Administer and monitor collateral assets pledged by borrowers to secure loans ensuring accurate documentation, and maintenance of collateral records. Coordinate all operational activities relating to the timely and accurate processing of lien perfections acting as the primary liaison between members, internal stakeholders, and vendors.

- Serve as in-house expert on vehicle title lien perfections processes. Inclusive of but not limited to complexities such as releasing titles for registration, owner name change, titling in a different state, payoff/lien release requirements, change in ownership requirements of state agency and PenFed.
- Analyze and review documentation related to title processing and modifications with an emphasis on accuracy, legitimacy, and completeness of required documentation.
- Responsible for communication via e-mail, phone, fax, and postal mail between vendors, State Department of Motor Vehicles agencies, members, and management throughout the titling process.
- Maintain strong working knowledge of all internal programs and systems such as, but not limited to Hogan and Sales Force.
- Utilize in-depth knowledge of all vendor related programs and reports, which include but are not limited to CenterPoint, Share point, Route66, DealerTrack Title Management System (TMS) and other ancillary products.
- Efficiently manage incoming and outgoing mail to ensure timely delivery and accurate record-keeping.
- Compile all necessary documents when necessary, communicating with members and vehicle owners, to resolve discrepancies and complete lien perfection.
- Review various vendor reports of loans in follow-up status for non-receipt of title to determine next action. Communicate resolution with vendor. •
Review all Salesforce requests/cases for accuracy and compliance of requested actions, inputting correct requests into the titling software for vendor processing, and returning or resolving incorrect requests.

Review policies, procedures, and guidelines and make recommendations for improvement to increase efficiency, streamline processes, or contain costs/losses.
•
Keep supervisor informed of accomplishments, problems, and issues relating to collateral operations.
•
In house lien placement of all non-compliant accounts that have exhausted the title system SLA for lien placement and servicing.
•
Ensure the utmost accuracy and quality of daily work. Be an active participant in huddles and meetings.
•
Effectively and efficiently resolving member service questions and inquiries with a high standard of communication internally and externally.
•
Monitor and review rate waivers and exceptions.
Qualifications
An equivalent combination of education and experience is considered.
- Associate’s degree in a related field is required.
•
A minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience is required.
•
Knowledge of consumer loan title practices preferred.
•
Detail-oriented, resourceful, and able to manage shifting priorities, with the flexibility to adapt quickly to change.
•
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
•
Ability to self-motivate with little oversight.
•
Ability to communicate with internal and external teams.
•
Experience in using A.I. tools preferred.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position will not supervise employees.
Licenses and Certifications
There are no additional certifications required.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to an indoor office setting with moderate noise.
*Most roles require working in an office setting with moderate noise and the ability to lift 25 pounds.*
