The person in this role will oversee external storytelling in media and executive communications, including strategies for thought leadership, proactive media engagement, and events and conferences. The ideal candidate must have corporate message amplification and media relationships experience. . Salary: $170,537.00 - $210,654.00. This position is eligible for an annual bonus. Key responsibilities include: Business News: Develop the external communication plans including narrative and strategy for communicating corporate milestones with business and trade media to reach key stake holders. Partner with internal HR, Sales, Sustainability and Customer Direct colleagues on producing communications to all audiences, including national and local media, retail and home/office delivery customers and community stakeholders. Oversee development and maintain quality control of all external communications materials, including key messages, press releases, bylined articles, op-eds, Q&As, and executive talking points. As well as manage strategy, creation and execution of written content on owned and select executive social channels. Manage Corporate Communications agency of record including of coordination of media strategy and communications activities. Build and maintain relationships with key business and trade reporters, handling inbound media inquiries as well as proactive storytelling. Stay abreast of the latest industry trends in the beverage industry/water space– insert Primo Brands as a thought leader in these dialogues. Produce compelling, concise and audience-relevant communications and make recommendations for ways to reach audiences via the right channels. Identify and implement best practice media trends and success metrics; consistently track and gauge impact of communications initiatives and activities. Create sustainability narratives to show business focus and progress against company goals. Support local teams with messaging for community engagement. Qualifications Qualifications Minimum 15 years of experience in corporate communications, with experience working in a matrixed organization, as well as some agency or political campaign experience. Strong business acumen with a proven track record of driving positive change via effective communications. Demonstrated success translating strategy into audience-appropriate, simple and compelling narratives. Ability to develop and maintain a clear understanding of competitive landscape and marketplace dynamics to inform corporate positioning and reputation building. Trusted media relationships within business, trade and local media. Strong relationship-building skills. And track record placing strategic stories in business and national press. Experience managing agency and as corporate spokesperson in both positive and challenging scenarios. Exceptional writer and storyteller; inspiring communicator. Deep understanding of media landscape, stakeholder and influencer dynamics and digital best practices. Understanding and experience in digital and social strategies; ability to demonstrate effective channel use for specific audiences. Experience using data and analytics as a way to drive effective strategy and demonstrate ROI. Proven ability to work effectively and build relationships with key stakeholders in a entrepreneurial environment. Excellent interpersonal and verbal skills; trustworthy and credible with ability to navigate challenges and offer solutions. Comfort with being an experienced leader and doer.
