Qualifications

  • Advanced Level of English in both verbal and written is a must.
  • Experience in LLP operations in the Supply Chain division and multi-modal transport operations (Road, Air & Sea).
  • At least 3 years of experience in supply chain operations.
  • Strong customer relationship management skills.
  • International freight experience and experience in Carrier Management.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with carriers and other suppliers.
  • Strong negotiation skills and strategic thinking.
  • Ability to analyze operational performance and develop improvement initiatives.
  • Familiarity with compliance and legislative requirements in logistics.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in relevant systems and platforms used in logistics and supply chain management.

Job Description

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with carriers and other suppliers to ensure that targets are met.
  • Take action on escalations from the operations department and resolve issues promptly.
  • Proactively communicate operational changes to carriers.
  • Track carrier performance on a weekly and monthly basis, ensuring KPI reporting to the manager.
  • Follow continuous improvement processes to enhance carrier performance.
  • Play an effective role in resolving vehicle capacity issues and providing solutions.
  • Collect and approve spot vehicle offers with the manager’s approval.
  • Contribute to the development of the carrier portfolio and support procurement activities to the Carrier Manager.
  • Keep all documents related to carrier management updated and ensure carrier fleets meet quality and compliance standards.
  • Support carrier onboarding processes and visit relevant locations for audits, development, and project assignments.
  • Propose process optimization suggestions and ensure effective implementation of these changes.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality management systems in all operational processes.
  • Participate in risk assessment studies and ensure all employees are trained to carry out their jobs safely and competently.
  • Participate contract negotiations related to supplier contracts and ensure compliance with legal and operational requirements.
  • Manage Claims and Return flows and supervise responsible teams.
