Job Title: Linen Technician

Employment Type: Full-Time

Shift: Day - 6:00 am - 2:30 pm - Monday - Friday (with every other weekend commitment)

Location: Holy Cross Hospital, Silver Spring, Maryland

Position Purpose

•

The Linen Technician performs laundry duties for the hospital’s Laundry Services Department.

As a “Linen Technician” you will

•

Receives and distributes clean linen and scrubs, and retrieves soiled linen on a daily basis.

•

Provides back up support to Supply Chain distribution as required.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent •

Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English

•

Must be familiar with universal precautions during the performance of duties.

Pay Range: $17.65 - $20.20

Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
