EDB is seeking a highly motivated Partner Solution Architect to serve as the primary technical anchor for our channel organization. In this role, you will bridge the gap between deep database engineering and partner-led sales. As a technical evangelist, enablement leader, and hands-on advisor, you will empower our partner ecosystem (VARs, SIs, and MSPs) to successfully position, demonstrate, and deploy our cutting-edge database solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Evangelism: Act as the technical voice of the company for our partner network. Champion our database solutions by speaking at channel events, hosting webinars, and creating compelling technical content (blogs, whitepapers, video demos) to drive ecosystem excitement and adoption.
- Partner Training & Enablement: Design and deliver high-impact technical training programs. Lead hands-on boot camps, architectural workshops, and certification tracks to ensure partner sales engineers are highly proficient in our database technology and use cases.
- Proof of Concept (POC) Leadership: Act as the ultimate technical escalation point for partner-led sales cycles. Provide architectural guidance, performance tuning advice, and hands-on support during complex POCs to ensure technical validation and mutual success.
- Product Advocacy: Serve as the trusted liaison between channel partners and internal Product Management, capturing field feedback and advocating for feature requests that accelerate partner growth.
Ideal Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years as a Solutions Architect, Pre-Sales Engineer, or Technical Evangelist, preferably supporting a partner/channel organization.
- Domain Expertise: Deep hands-on knowledge of modern database technologies (e.g., relational, NoSQL, distributed databases, cloud data warehousing) and data architecture.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional presentation and storytelling abilities. You must be equally comfortable whiteboarding complex data pipelines for engineers as you are pitching business value to executives.
- Mentorship: A passion for teaching, building curriculum, and enabling others to succeed technically.
As a Partner Solutions Architect, you serve as the crucial bridge between deep database engineering and the external partner ecosystem. You act as the primary technical anchor for the company's VARs, System Integrators, and MSPs.
