If you thrive on creating order, accuracy and consistency from complex information, the Portfolio Analyst role is your chance to be at the heart of IAWAI’s “single source of truth.” In a fast‑moving environment with a large and challenging capital programme, you will be essential to ensuring high‑quality, timely reporting that underpins decision‑making at every level, while contributing to improvements in systems, data quality and reporting processes. This is an opportunity to build strong PMO foundations in a new organisation, where your attention to detail and commitment to reliable information will directly support better delivery outcomes for the community.

Oo puumanawa me oo wheako | Your skills and experience 

  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Information Management, Project Administration, Data Analysis or equivalent experience.
  • Around 3+ years’ experience in portfolio, programme, project or business reporting environments.
  • Strong experience working with reporting systems, datasets and spreadsheets, with high accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Good understanding of project/portfolio reporting fundamentals such as risks, issues, milestones and financials.
  • Proven ability to manage cyclical reporting deadlines and maintain disciplined processes. 
  • Clear communication skills, including confidence to follow up and resolve data gaps with stakeholders.
  • systems‑savvy and quick to learn new tools, with confidence working across portfolio reporting platforms and datasets
