What You'll Do
This role supports the Expert Career Track (ECT) across Asia Pacific and offers a unique opportunity to shape the evolution of the track while partnering closely with senior leaders across the region. The role works closely with the AP ECT Senior People Director and AP People Leadership Team to drive the ECT people agenda, lead strategic initiatives, and manage key talent processes across the region.
The AP ECT HR Senior Specialist is expected to operate independently, partnering with senior stakeholders including office leadership, Practice Area leadership, regional and global People teams, and ECT consultants to drive talent strategy, a operational excellence, and organizational effectiveness. This role offers substantial opportunities for professional growth, increased ownership, and broader leadership responsibilities as the ECT agenda continues to evolve across the region.
Your main responsibilities include
ECT People Strategy & Initiatives
•
- Contribute to strategic global programs impacting the ECT population, including BCG 2030 talent strategy, Project Helis, CD+ enhancement
- Drive and implement ECT-related change initiatives at the global, regional, and local system levels.
- Lead and coordinate the Asia Pacific ECT network to strengthen engagement, governance, and operational effectiveness across the region.
ECT Strategic Workforce Planning
•
- Supporting AP management team (Regional Chair, APMT) in defining and implementing ECT capacity planning and approval guidelines.
- Partner with local systems and Practice Areas on annual portfolio reviews, workforce planning, and capacity management.
AP ECT Talent management
•
- Lead regional ECT talent processes, including onboarding, career development (Regional Expert CDC), promotion, compensation, and bonus reviews.
- Manage the Regional Expert Career Development Committee (AP EDC), including committee operations, advisor onboarding and upskilling.
- Ensure consistent execution of ECT people processes while continuously identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and employee experience.
What You'll Bring
This is a demanding position, and we are looking for the right individual to fill it. We expect that the individual could be confident working independently in a fast-paced professional environment and have a great can-do attitude.

- Consultant experience or BCG experience preferred
- 4+ years of working experience in HR or finance function
- Master degree preferred, engineer or business/finance background
- Strong analytical skills, from organizing data, running analysis with advanced techniques to presenting findings in Excel or Power Point
- Understanding of HR practices and metrics; performance management experience is a plus
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
Who You'll Work With
You will be part of the AP people team, working directly with AP ECT Senior People Director. Your key stakeholders include local system leadership and PA leadership in the region, global ECT management team, AP people functional leaders and expert consultants in the region
