Position Overview
Successful candidate will hold an HHA certification from CDPH and preferably have experience in a Home Health or Hospice environment.
Under the supervision of the Primary Care Clinician and/or Clinical Manager, the Home Health Aide provides personal care and related non-professional household services necessary to meet the hygiene, activities of daily living, and comfort needs of the homebound patient.

- HS Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) provided prior to start date
CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE
- HHA-Home Health Aide provided prior to start date
- BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
DEPARTMENT SPECIFIC CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE
- Department: SCAH - DL-Valid Drivers License
- Department: SCAH - Auto Insurance
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology, healthcare practices and universal precautions.
- Ability to interpret a variety of data and instructions, furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Possess written and verbal communications skills to explain sensitive information clearly and professionally to diverse audiences, including non-medical people.
- Well-developed time management and organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize assignments and work within standardized operating procedures and scientific methods to achieve objectives and meet deadline
- General knowledge of computer applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook).
- Prioritize assignments and work within standardized policies, procedures, and scientific methods to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
- Work independently, as well as be part of the team, including accomplishing multiple tasks in an environment with interruptions.
- Identify, evaluate and resolve standard problems by selecting appropriate solutions from established options.

Pay Range is $27.63 to $34.45 / hour
The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled.
