Job description

At Evolve, we’re on a mission to make vacation rental easy for everyone. Our high-performing, customer-obsessed team runs on curiosity, communication, and accountability—working together to create exceptional experiences for our owners and guests. Whether solving big challenges, delivering outstanding results, or celebrating wins, we approach every day with purpose and passion. If you’re ready to join a mission-driven company where every teammate has the opportunity to thrive, Evolve might just be the place for you.

Why this role

As an industry disruptor, Evolve is on a mission to make vacation rental easy for everyone. Our Onboarding Team sits at the critical handoff between Sales and long-term owner success by welcoming each new owner to the platform, consulting them through the setup process, and preparing owners and Property Managers for five-star performance from day one.

As Manager of the Onboarding Team, you'll lead a team of 8–12 Onboarding Consultants with varying experience and tenure. Your focus will span individual coaching, pipeline oversight, and team-wide performance by tracking metrics like conversion rates, time-to-activation, and owner satisfaction to hit ambitious goals. You'll identify skill gaps, build actionable development plans, and foster an environment where top performers thrive.

You'll be empowered to lead the team in the best way possible to reach and exceed goals, elevate your team through skill and career development, and champion a high performing, customer obsessed culture at every level. You will also be encouraged to try new strategies to meet or exceed team goals and build an environment where top performers thrive.

What you’ll do

As a leader within our high performing, customer obsessed culture, you will:

  • Lead a team of Onboarding Consultants who work closely with vacation rental owners and Property Managers to ensure properties are guest-ready, owners have a full understanding of our services prior to activation, and properties are set up for five-star rating success
  • Hire, develop, and retain high-performing talent through call reviews, skill sessions, pipeline-metric reviews, and career development 1:1s — coaching on consultative sales techniques, objection handling, pipeline progression, and CRM best practices
  • Monitor and manage team pipeline health, ensuring consultants are maintaining CRM hygiene, advancing accounts efficiently, and consistently hit activation and conversion targets
  • Lead your team to meet or exceed monthly goals by analyzing pipeline forecasts, conversion trends, and individual performance data to inform coaching decisions and drive results
  • Collaborate with Sales, Support, Account Management and other cross-functional leaders to refine the onboarding playbook, develop best practices, and identify process improvements that strengthen the owner experience and pipeline efficiency
  • -Build and sustain a high-performing, customer-obsessed team culture through regular team touchpoints, recognition, contests, and being a consistent, energizing presence for your team
  • Identify and champion new ideas and process improvements that strengthen pipeline management, elevate the customer experience, and drive team performance

What makes you a great fit

  • 5+ years of experience in hospitality, consultative sales, or a customer-facing role within a high-performing, customer-obsessed culture
  • 2+ years of people management experience required, with experience leading a sales, onboarding, or pipeline-driven team strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and develop team members on consultative sales techniques, objection handling, pipeline management, and CRM best practices
  • Ability to analyze and leverage data, including pipeline forecasts, conversion trends, and individual performance metrics, to drive team performance and inform coaching decisions
  • Ability to think strategically and work efficiently without sacrificing thoroughness
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills — articulate and direct in both group and one-on-one settings, including when delivering performance feedback tied to sales and pipeline metrics
  • Eagerness to learn and embrace change in a fluid, high-growth environment, with a commitment to staying current on sales methodology, pipeline best practices, and evolving process or playbook shifts
  • A source of positive energy who leads with a hospitality mindset, embodies Evolve's core values, and puts the customer at the center of every decision while supporting and guiding a high-performing team

Compensation

The on target earnings for this role ranges from $100,000 to $130,000 depending on relevant experience. This role will also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on both company and individual performance. Compensation for this role may vary to reflect local market conditions.

Location

All Evolve team members must live in one of our approved locations by their first day. We can hire from anywhere in the U.S. except D.C. and Hawaii. Some positions may also have restrictions based on compensation in the following states: California, Maryland, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and Washington. If you live in Colorado, you can work remotely anywhere in the state, at our downtown Denver office, or a hybrid of both! If you're planning to move soon, please let us know, and we'll be happy to review your application again.
