Job description

Position Purpose:

To maintain and enhance the appearance of guest rooms, public areas, outlets, and back-of-house facilities through professional painting and decorative finishing works, ensuring compliance with Accor and Mövenpick brand standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out interior and exterior wall painting, touch-ups, and decorative finishing works throughout the hotel.
  • Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, patching, filling cracks, and applying primers before painting.
  • Perform painting works in guest rooms, corridors, public areas, restaurants, meeting rooms, and back-of-house locations.
  • Ensure color matching and finishing quality meet hotel brand standards.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests related to wall finishes and paint defects.
  • Maintain painting tools, equipment, and materials in a clean and safe condition.
  • Follow preventive maintenance schedules and complete assigned work orders efficiently.
  • Observe all health, safety, fire, and environmental regulations when handling paints, chemicals, and equipment.
  • Minimize disruption to guests by maintaining cleanliness and proper worksite protection during painting activities.
  • Assist the Engineering team with other maintenance duties when required.

Qualifications & Experience

  • High school certificate or vocational training in painting and decorating.
  • Minimum 1 year of painting experience, preferably in hotels, resorts, or commercial facilities.
  • Knowledge of surface preparation, paint application techniques, and finishing methods.
  • Familiarity with safety procedures and proper use of painting tools and materials.
