Job description
Work Conditions:

On the daily, you will:
Maintenance & Equipment Repair:
- Perform electrical repairs, maintenance, testing, and installation on industrial equipment and machinery;
- Troubleshoot various electrical issues;
- Maintain tools and equipment in a safe and serviceable condition;
- Assist and support Industrial Mechanics as required.
Preventive Maintenance
- Participate in planning and executing routine preventive maintenance activities according to established schedules;
- Document all maintenance tasks, repairs, time required, and parts used on work orders;
- Recommend improvements to reduce future breakdowns and increase equipment reliability.
Operational Support:
- Assist with the preparation and implementation of lockout/tagout procedures;
- Source and procure parts as required;
- Act as a point of contact for contractors and coordinate activities as needed.
Qualifications:
- Industrial Electrical journeyperson or Electrical journeyperson certification;
- Red Seal certification;
- 3+ years of experience as an industrial electrician, electrician, or other relevant work;
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose issues independently;
- Computer literacy for maintenance documentation requirements;
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations related to measurements, tolerances, and adjustments.
Physical Demands:
- Regular standing, walking, bending, and reaching;
- Use of hands for handling tools, parts, and equipment;
- Occasional kneeling, crouching, and working in confined spaces;
- Regular lifting and moving of materials; items over 50 lbs require assistance or mechanical support;
- Visual requirements include close vision, depth perception, and ability to see details at close range;
- Willingness to work overtime or respond to urgent maintenance needs as required.
