Work Conditions:

On the daily, you will:
Preventive Maintenance
- Participate in planning and executing routine preventive maintenance activities according to established schedules.
- Document all maintenance tasks, repairs, time required, and parts used on work orders.
- Recommend improvements to reduce future breakdowns and increase equipment reliability.
Maintenance & Equipment Repair:
- Perform mechanical repairs, maintenance, and installation on machinery, tools, and industrial equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical issues.
- Maintain tools and equipment in a safe and serviceable condition.
Operational Support:
- Assist with the preparation and implementation of lockout/tagout procedures.
- Support recycling operations, including the handling and processing of materials.
- Source and procure general small tool parts as required.
Qualifications:
- Millwright trade certification or relevant trade certification;
- Red seal certification;
- 3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, mechanical repair, or millwright work;
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic electrical;
- Experience with welding, cutting, and fabrication is preferred;
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, manuals, and schematics;
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose issues independently;
- Computer literacy for maintenance documentation requirements;
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations related to measurements, tolerances, and adjustments.
Physical Demands:
- Regular standing, walking, bending, and reaching;
- Use of hands for handling tools, parts, and equipment;
- Occasional kneeling, crouching, and working in confined spaces;
- Regular lifting and moving of materials; items over 50 lbs require assistance or mechanical support;
- Visual requirements include close vision, depth perception, and ability to see details at close range;
- Willingness to work overtime or respond to urgent maintenance needs as required.
