Our mission is the make sustainability affordable and accessible for everyone.

By offering financial solutions to homeowners, we’re making renewable energy and home improvements more accessible to the everyday Aussie.

Between Nov 2016 and Feb 2022, Brighte has facilitated the installation of solar systems for over 110,000 households. Currently we have 1700 GWh generated by our customers each year which is saving 1 million + metric tons on C02 emissions per year!

Our founder and CEO, Katherine McConnell, has been awarded Telstra Business Woman of the year in 2020 as well as winning the Sustainability Crusader award at B&T's 2023 Women Leading Tech Awards. She is a passionate and humble leader who has a human first approach to business. As a business we have been awarded AFR Sustainability Leader in the Banking and Finance category and won the inaugural Sustainability Award at the Affies!

Ownership Areas The People practice

Advise and coach leaders through live issues in real time.

Bring clear recommendations on the matters that carry real weight.

Employee relations

Handle complex and sensitive cases with empathy and pragmatism.

Work towards outcomes that stand on genuine, defensible footing and stay rooted in our values.

Lead grievances and investigations, with external legal support on high-risk matters.

Bringing in the best people

Own hiring from brief to offer, including interviewing.

Use AI tools to take out the legwork, keeping your focus on judgment, candidate experience and getting the right people in.

Assess AI capability in every hire.

Performance and remuneration

Support and drive a high-performance culture that lifts organisational productivity.

Lead performance calibration across the business.

Run the annual remuneration review, linking reward to contribution and holding the team to our Raise the Bar standard.

Organisation and role design

Shape how Brighte is structured and how roles are built.

Plan for the workforce we will need as the business evolves, keeping the org a step ahead with the right shape and the right roles.

Change management

Guide Brighte through change and make it land.

Bring a clear, steady plan that takes people with you and keeps the business moving, whether that is new ways of working or a new leader joining.
