Job description

Are you ready to help reinvent psychiatric and mental health care within a premium membership? As Amenities Health's Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), you'll deliver comprehensive, relationship-based psychiatric care and help shape the evolution of our mental health offering from day one. Mental and behavioral health is a cornerstone of healthspan, and this role brings psychiatric expertise directly into our premium membership offerings with the time, autonomy, and support to do it well.

What you'll do:

  • Deliver longitudinal, relationship-based psychiatric care to a curated virtual panel — including comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, treatment planning, medication management, psychoeducation, and supportive therapy.
  • Diagnose and treat a range of lower-to-moderate acuity conditions (e.g., anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, PTSD), with bandwidth to coordinate care for more complex presentations through our integrated network.
  • Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications, including controlled substances, adjusting for safety and effectiveness, and educate members on risks, benefits, and side effects.
  • Integrate behavioral health with our longevity and lifestyle medicine approach partnering with primary care, considering the interplay of sleep, stress, metabolic health, and emerging therapies as appropriate.
  • Lead and contribute to the continued development of digital workflows, messaging norms, scheduling design, white-glove service protocols, and advanced clinical offerings.
  • Serve as a clinical voice in shaping practice culture, communication standards, and member engagement in a nimble, highly-motivated startup where your ideas directly impact care delivery.
  • Enjoy protected time for in-depth consults (e.g., 60-minute new evaluations, 20-minute follow-ups) and flexible administrative blocks with zero legacy headaches or RVU churn.

What Makes This Role Different

  • Your panel, your pace: focus on quality of relationships, not volume of visits, and on clinical decision-making without pressure to shorten visits or increase throughput.
  • You'll help build, not just participate. From EMR customizations to new service lines and wellness offerings, your clinical feedback directly drives our growth.
  • Join a company at the intersection of primary care, concierge medicine, longevity, behavioral health, virtual care, and premium member services.
  • Outpatient and partially remote: no inpatient, intensive outpatient (IOP), partial hospitalization, or crisis/on-call coverage — just modern, optimized clinic-based and tele-psychiatry that acknowledges that the best patient loyalty comes from clinician loyalty.
  • As a direct (cash-pay) model, insurance billing workflows will not be a part of your role, giving you more time to focus on excellent patient care.

We Offer

  • Hybrid in-person and virtual with standard hours at launch (future options to customize your week)
  • Base salary of $110k-120k, with up to $30k annual bonuses for panel size, patient satisfaction and quality metrics.
  • PTO: all 11 Federal Holidays, 10 anytime days (i.e., 2 weeks)
  • Stock options in an early stage venture-backed company: true ownership in our collective future
  • 100% company-paid health insurance for you and/or family
  • Employer-paid malpractice / liability coverage
  • A 401K program
  • Technology package (i.e., laptop and remote office reimbursements)
  • A thoughtfully capped panel for deep relationships — with full team support, modern EMR, and administrative help (scheduling, intake coordination, and licensing support)
  • CME reimbursement and licensing support
  • The resources of major partner institutions (i.e., a robust referral network — including psychiatrists and therapists — to supplement your care leadership)

Requirements:

  • Ability to join full-time (~40hr/week)
  • Board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)
  • Active, unrestricted license with autonomous practice authority
  • Active DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain)
  • 3+ years of post-graduate clinical experience delivering outpatient psychiatric care, including comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, treatment planning, and medication management
  • Comfort practicing in a fully remote, telepsychiatry-based model
  • Proficiency using electronic medical records to document care accurately and efficiently
  • Strong clinical judgment, clear communication, and a collaborative, team-based approach
  • A service-oriented approach to patient care (i.e., a willingness, patience, and joy in engaging patients, at their level, on their questions and interests)
  • Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous clinical development
  • Awareness of and compliance with HIPAA (and 42 CFR Part 2 where applicable)

Preferred / Plus:

  • Medical license in TX and expansion states (NC, CA) or multi-state licensure
  • Experience in virtual care and/or membership-based models
  • Strong track record of delivering outstanding patient experience and clinical excellence
  • Experience integrating mental health with whole-person, lifestyle, or longevity-oriented care
  • Comfort and curiosity with the latest in health tech: AI documentation, wearables, advanced diagnostics, lifestyle medicine, longevity, and root-cause approaches
  • A social media presence, including LinkedIn, X, Instagram, etc.
  • Spanish-speaking or additional language proficiency a plus
  • Commitment to collaborating, iterating, and building a better model — not just working in the old one
