Overview

Assists supervisor with staff education, competency and evaluations. Strives to provide optimal patient care and safety. Performs and assists with imaging procedures. Upholds the Standard of Practice of a registered technologist. Qualifications

Required Education

Vocational Degree required: Graduate from School of Radiologic Technology recognized by the ARRT.

Necessary Skills

• Approach and manage stress/traumatic situations in a calm manner.
• Knowledge of Imaging procedures and practices.
• Familiar with imaging equipment and all other patient care equipment.
• Knowledge of computer technology, electronic imaging, and ability to troubleshoot problems.

Required Licensure/Certifications

Current BLS Certification, (ARRT) American Registry of Radiologic Technology and Florida State License. ARRT certification in CT.

Required Experience

1 - 2 years of CT experience AND 3 - 5 years of General Radiology experience

Preferred Experience

Specialized training in CT. Experience with PAC's. Required Education:
