Responsibilities

The Clinical Manager provides overall administrative direction and coordination of clinic(s) while serving as liaison with the practice director, physicians, MSO partners, patients and outside organizations to coordinate clinic business, accomplish directives and to facilitate resolution of problems.

General Responsibilities

  • Attend department, clinic or company meetings as required
  • Demonstrate sound judgment by taking appropriate actions regarding questionable findings or concerns.
  • Consistently work in a positive and cooperative manner with fellow staff members.
  • Consistently demonstrate ability to respond to changing situations in a flexible manner in order to meet current needs, such as reprioritizing work as necessary.
  • Attend required annual in-service programs.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of all company policies and procedures.

Specific Duties

  • Develops and maintains overall organizational structure, systems, and staffing plan to effectively accomplish the goals and objectives of the clinic(s); ensuring timely and resource-efficient responses to clinic needs as they arise.
  • Manages all aspects of clinic operations while controlling labor costs and clinic expenses.
  • Maintains functional knowledge of staff responsibilities.
  • Manages assigned staff including but not limited to conducting candidate interviews, training, supervising, performance management, scheduling, and approving payroll.
  • Initiates coaching, disciplinary action, and performance improvement planning utilizing direct and open communication, in order to address violations of policy and/or poor behavior or performance.
  • Using MSO reports, makes recommendations to the Practice Director when appropriate for improvement of financial results, clinic productivity and operational benchmarks.
  • Works in tandem with the Patient Services Manager to ensure that the administrative support and clinic functions work together to maximize clinic outcomes in collaboration/coordination with the MSO team.
  • Responsible for the clinic’s compliance with all applicable laws, rules, regulations, and standards, including HIPAA and OSHA protocols.
  • Plans and processes clinic supply orders for clinic site(s).
  • Performs physics testing for all radiology equipment per manufacturer guidelines. Facilitates state inspections of site and equipment every 3 years; Coordinates IAC accreditation to show compliance with industry standards and a commitment to quality improvement.
  • Works with the Patient Services Manager to help resolve complaints pertaining to clinical staff.

Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience required
  • Knowledge of medical practices and terminology required, including but not limited to: clinic operations, x-ray and DME
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required USD $60,000.00/Yr. USD $70,000.00/Yr.
