Who we are looking for (candidates must be located in the U.S.)

This role drives organizational change and operational excellence by leading lean transformation initiatives across strategically selected internal value streams as well as facilitating lean in product and process development work and in collaboration with Re:Build external customers. Reporting to the Chief Lean Officer, the Transformation Coach is responsible for guiding strategy deployment, conducting value stream analysis, and facilitating improvement events that impact safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and lead time . With a strong focus on teaching, mentoring, and coaching in the Gemba, this position develops lean leadership and culture throughout the enterprise, ensuring sustainable improvements that support business growth and the revitalization of U.S. manufacturing .

What you bring to the Team

  • Hands on experience leading lean transformation including strategy deployment, Value Stream Analysis, and guiding roadmap transformational work including A3 thinking, rapid improvement (Kaizen) events, projects and coaching in the Gemba.
  • Experience leading and coaching lean in product and process development.
  • Experience coaching lean practices in engineering, technical and transactional (administrative) environments.
  • Proven expertise coaching Value Stream Mapping, Visual Management, A3 Problem Solving, TPM/OEE, SMED, 2P/3P, Standard Work, line balancing, quality improvement tools, Cell design, Kanban, Waste identification and 5S.
  • Excellent facilitation skills and the ability to lead Kaizen events at all levels of the organization.
  • Computer skills including MS Office: excel, word, PowerPoint, and ability to perform statistical analysis.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is required
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 15+ years Lean Experience, leading and coaching in operations and technical environment
  • Ability to travel up to 75%.
